Searching on Your Past Connections

There are three ways to search for items on Your Past Connections. The first method is the letter bar at the top of the page. The second method is by text field.

To use the letter bar, simply press the letter to do a complete listing of all entries indexed by the last name. For example, suppose you want to find all 'Jones' in the database, you simply click on 'J' to receive that list.

To use the text field search, you enter the data in the field that you wish to search by, and the data base will return all entries that match your specifications. The database will search using your entries as a substring. For example, suppose you want to find 'Smith' in the last name. By searching for Smith, you will receive all Smith's, Smithsonians's, etc.

The third way is to click the link that lists all of the surnames and then scroll through the list looking for the ones you want.
